The Project
The application is meant for all the employees worldwide to request a computer (desktop or notebook) replacement. They specify the following:
– Current pick-up location.
– Means of communication (SMS o e-mail) for status update.
– Current hardware (it has to be audited before the replacement was approved).
– New hardware (availability depends on the location).- New configuration (OS, keyboard language, etc.).
– Drop-off location (if the employee requests a notebook, he can choose to go a depot himself since it implies less delay).- Installation date (depending on drop-off location).
– The employee can also access a tracking section to follow the progress.

Working synchronously
Our client was in the US, so it was a great advantage to share the time zone and be able to work synchronously being able to organize calls and meets.
